On July 6, 2023, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) issued a press release on the award of Phase 1 project funding under its Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program's 23.1 Solicitation.
Cignal LLC was selected as one of 20 small business award recipients to conduct proof-of-concept research addressing homeland security technology needs. In particular, the work associated with Cignal's award relates to the DHS SBIR 23.1 Solicitation Topic, "Air Cargo Manifest Analysis to Aid Screeners."
